Soriano Suspended

UPDATE: Braves Live on Sports South has announced Rafael Soriano will be suspended for 2 games, with a minor fine. It looks like MLB agrees with my opinion on suspending him. He’ll be available to pitch the final game of the year on Sunday. “I probably would have been more frustrated if we were still in contention, but now, it just really doesn’t matter”, said Soriano.

The Braves Official Site stated the following: “MLB suspended Braves closer Rafael Soriano four games and fined him an undisclosed amount for intentionally hitting Florida Marlins 2B Dan Uggla in the head on Tuesday’s game. Soriano has filed an appeal, and is supposed to play in the following Milwaukee Brewer series.”

I feel that the suspension is too much, and while it did look intentional, it shouldn’t be four games, it should be two. Do you agree with the suspension?
