Mark Bowman reports that the Braves have agreed to terms with outfielder Joe Borchard. Borchard played with the Marlins last year, and did ok. Here’s what The Braves official website had to say:

There has been a lot of buzz around the Braves on what our back up catcher plan will be, and same goes for center field. Andruw Jones has signed a 2 yr deal worth $36M with the Los Angeles Dodgers. I know, he’s no where near worth close to that.

The Braves are most likely going to have a quiet Winter Meetings this year. Frank Wren has already acquired Jair Jurrjens, Gorkys Hernandez, Tom Glavine, Chris Resop, and Josh Anderson.
