The 2008 Atlanta Braves season starts tomorrow!!! Bobby Cox and the rest of his staff have finally made their 25 man roster. The Braves are hopeful for a return to the playoffs this year.
They have added more depth to the rotation, bench, and bullpen this off-season. That is really going to help the Bravos [...]

According to Fox 5 News in Atlanta, the Atlanta Braves first baseman Scott Thorman has cleared waivers. Thorman is going to be the starting first baseman for the Braves AAA affiliate Richmond this season. This should do wonders for Thorman. He can have another year in Richmond were he can try to fix his whole [...]

The Braves have dealt former Braves relief pitcher Tyler Yates for minor league pitcher Todd Redmond. I will say that this was an “ok” deal for both clubs. Both pitchers had a bit of a struggle last season. The Braves were better off dealing Yates than releasing him and getting nothing. The main reason why [...]

I am leaving Blabberin Braves. It was a good run while it lasted. I am now joining up with Tomahawk Talk. D’Andre is now in charge of the blog, whatever he wants to do with it, it doesn’t matter to me.
Sincerely,
Corey Bishop
PS: While I had some good times here, I wanted a bigger crowd, and [...]

10. Mark Kotsay needs to stay healthy!!!

Scott Thorman: Bill Shanks from scout.com is confirming that the Braves are shopping the mighty Thor around. The former 2000 First Round draft pick hasn’t lived up to expectations so far in his young career. In 2006 he hit .234, and last season he hit even lower with a .216 average. Thorman is strikeout prone, [...]

This post is by guest blogger Kyle James who will be randomly posting from time to time on Blabberin’ Braves.
I don’t know who’s seen this video, but it got me thinking…
Signing Johan Santana is definitely a defining move this off season, no dispute from me. In my ever Bravefantic look for reasons [...]
