Hey, good news! Tom Glavine has been activated from the disabled list, and is making his start against the Nationals! He’s back from the first stint of the DL he’s ever had, after he had a little Hammy problem. That’s good news, as we could definitely use some more pitching, no matter who it is. Tom is 0-1 on the season, with a 2.38 ERA. Not too shabby, and he has proven to be dominant from the first 5 innings of the Nationals game.

Here’s some really good news. Smoltz has been disabled! WHAT? HOW IS THAT GOOD NEWS? The good news for him is he isn’t going to have to have surgery. Thankfully, he’ll just go on the DL. He has some rotator cuff inflammation and severly inflamed biceps. The 40 year old ace was placed on the DL, retroactive (starting since) Monday. Hopefully, he won’t be there long!
