The Braves start another three game road series in Cincinnati versus the surging Reds. The Reds have been playing very good baseball as of late, lead by their very good starting pitching and prized rookie Jay Bruce. If the Braves are going to win 2 of 3 from the Reds this series they’re going to [...]

Update: Rafael Soriano threw a successful bullpen session for the Braves today and said he felt great. We will have to wait and see how he feels tomorrow to know when he will be activated. Most likely he will get activated on Tuesday or Wednesday. John Smoltz is set to go on at least one [...]

Update: The Braves have finally designated Chris Resop for assignment. Bobby Cox really didn’t show much faith in Resop by only pitching him in blowout wins or loses. Buddy Carlyle was activated from off of the disable list and will replace Resop in the Braves bullpen.
If Rafael Soriano has a good bullpen session on [...]

Today’s nationally televised game on Fox between the Braves and the Diamondbacks lived up to expectations. It was a great pitchers duel between journeyman Jorge Campillo and future Hall of Famer Randy Johnson. If you’re a Arizona Diamondback fan you probably thought your team was going to have a similar game like last night. Little [...]

After a nice five game winning streak and sweeping the Mets, life couldn’t get any better for the Braves. The rotation looked solid, and all parts of the team were working together. However, those same Braves learned a lesson today. Don’t play with Diamondbacks, they might bite. They definitely did more than bite today, beating [...]

Wow, what a good game. We did absolutely no hitting until about the end of it however. Tim Hudson made it hard from the get go giving up 5 runs through the first two innings, but the Braves pitchers kept everything else silent from there on out. Tim Hudson is now 0 – [...]

What are kind of food are the Braves eating at home that they are not getting on the road? Now that’s a good question. The Braves doubled their one run wins with their 2nd of the season tonight (they are now 2-11in one run games).
This turned out to be a pitcher’s duel (not really). Turns [...]

Well it looks like the Braves finally won on the road. The Braves did something tonight that they normally don’t do on the road and that is cash in on the opportunities that they have to score.
The bats came alive today scoring 8 runs. The game got started in a huge way when Escobar [...]
