Atlanta made a small move today, getting Greg Norton from the Seattle Mariners for a Player to be named later, or cash considerations. Norton is a first baseman. In 16 at bats, he has 7 hits (.438 Batting average) and 4 RBI’s. He will either spend most of the year at the minors, or be the backup for Mark Teixeira. I’d go with backup for Tex. Not a bad move for Atlanta.

You are correct. I failed to mention that Martin is out for 6-8 weeks.
